During its existence, Polygon established a wide ranging cooperative relationship with IBM. It signed a Premier Business Partner contract with IBM covering the areas of establishing iSeries, pSeries, xSeries server systems, network, and cabling solutions. In addition to this, Polygon participated in preparing the Hungarian translation of operation systems OS/400 and AIX. It co-operates with IBM in several projects as a subcontractor.   

Polygon expands the IBM platform with different application systems.

• Euronet (USA, Budapest) bank transaction management system running on an IBM iSeries server
• MODERATOR solutions (Polygon, HU) on several IBM platforms

In addition to this, we have established relationships with a number of such application system developers whose products usefully complement in several areas the services of the core system:

• Vision Solutions Inc. (USA): Lakeview has for close to a decade been offering solutions that support the continuity of business activity - solutions that are able to meet the most diverse demands. The components of product line MIMIX that support Disaster Recovery, High Availability, server clustering, and data movement between the platforms are kept abreast with today’s requirements and are available for immediate implementation on the Windows, Linux, and AIX platforms in addition to the iS/OS platform.
• Safestone (UK): The DetectIT product line developed by Safestone Technologies provides assistance in “conversion” of the safety principles, limitations, rules and rights that are defined on company level and countinously monitoring these provisions. DetectIT supports the development of security policies, the detection and elimination of security gaps, that is the implementation and efficient management of system protection at a high level.
